(...) In Gdańsk I always improved my mood with a knuckle in a bar called "Pod Kaprem”. The one beside the shipyard, described by Lech Wałęsa in the "Droga Nadziei" ("The Road of Hope"). Water, in which they cooked the pork knuckle, was probably never changed. They only put some new pieces of meat into it. Unfortunately, the bar went bankrupt along with its customers.

What would I order for my "last supper"? Herring in mustard-mayonnaise sauce from Ewa in Sasino. She serves it there as a starter from the company, so apparently it would not be too expensive to order.
